i've been listening to some good tunes....
i just recieved a bunch of cd's i ordered from amazon.com
q and not u "power", slowdive "soulvaki" and "just for a day", my bloody valentine "tremelo" and "glider" (both ep's), the good life "album of the year", the arcade fire "funeral"
the slowdive and my bloody valentine are sweet.....shoegaze is teh goodness. the good life is a cursive side project, and it's really mellow compared to cursive, the new q and not u is really dancy, and the arcade fire is just....awesome. really good indie rock with lots of different insturments, orchestral parts and stuff.
the other night a bunch of friends of mine were at a party, and these two girls (abby and jess) who are girlfriends of my friends, well we left them at the party while we went to get more alcohol. when we came back to the party, they were making out on this couch in front of a bunch of apes, many of whom were taking pics with their camera phones. to show their friends later, i guess? and one guy was hitting on them both pretty relentlesly. i mean, they were acting like a couple of sluts. it was embarrasing for matt and dan, their boyfriends. so we were like "lets kick some ass!" and then when jess and abby came outside, they said, hey go kick some ass cause they were bothering us. so we went back inside (there was 5 of us...at least) and confronted a couple of these dudes, and we asked abby to come back inside and confirm that she was being harrassed. well, they came back inside and fell over onto a couch and started making out right there.....and jess's skirt was all a fluster, she was baring her ass for all to see.
so then we all looked like fools trying to defent their honor. cause at that point they didn't have any.....acting like that.....
sooooo......we dipped the scene.
i feel bad for dan and matt. they must feel like a couple of idiots.
so......i also am trying to meet girls that are a bit more.....progressive...... if you know what i mean?
also....i am still conflicted as hell about girls.
i have friends that are girls. but they have stupid tendencies...tendencies to say stupid things.....and act stupid.....
i just have more faith in my guy friends than my girl friends.
does any of that make sense? werd......
