my brain asplode
from too much internet.
i made the mistake of going to drudgereport.com today.
and going to fark.com to check on the photoshop contests.
which are the only good thing about fark. well, the best thing.
and it all reminded me of why i don't vote.
why i don't participate in the system of electing losers to office.
really, there isn't anyone quallified to be the president.
maybe kucinich, maybe nader. but neither of those guys have a fighting chance.
i mean, it's all a big lottery, it seems.
no one knows how a person is going to act after they get the payola.
you can promise anything as long as you know that there are so many variables that it would be practically impossible to deliver it.
and then you see, in huge 24 pt across the screen, some "boffo" headline about kerry's wife dissing ted kennedy and democarts, like, 30 years ago. and some people will decide who they vote for based on intel like that.
all of it, makes me want to move to canada.
